Gordon Lee is an MD partner at BTG Pactual, where he serves as Mexico´s Strategist and Senior Analyst. He covers the Latin American Real Estate, Cement & Construction, and Media sectors. Gordon has covered Latin American equities since 1994 across a variety of sectors, but always with a particular focus on both Real Estate and Construction. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and prior to joining BTG Pactual in 2012 he spent time at UBS/UBS Pactual, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and Barings.

También fungió como consultora de estrategia en Booz Allen Hamilton en México, Reino Unido, España y Portugal. Iker se enfoca en las inversiones de crecimiento de la firma en México y participa en el Comité de Inversiones Mezzanine. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2013, Iker trabajó en la división de banca de inversión en Barclays Bank, donde participó en transacciones de capital, fusiones y adquisiciones y transacciones de deuda. Previo a esto, trabajó en SAI Consultores, una firma de inversión boutique. Iker cuenta con una licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial por la Universidad Iberoamericana, donde actualmente se desempeña como profesor adjunto.

Santiago se enfoca en las inversiones de crecimiento de la firma en México y brinda apoyo a Nexxus Iberia. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2019, Santiago cofundó Tera Capital, un fondo de búsqueda basada en México. Previamente, fue analista de Equity Research en UBS, en el grupo de LatAm en la Ciudad de México. Santiago cuenta con un MBA por Chicago Booth School of Business y una licenciatura en Ingeniería Química por la Universidad Iberoamericana, donde actualmente se desempeña como profesor.

Eduardo Atehortua

Head of LATAM Principles for Responsible Investment

Is an economist with a specialization in Geopolitics from the EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia. He has a master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility from the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), Madrid, Spain. He has experience and special interest in the consolidation of sustainable development models in private organizations and the promotion of responsible and sustainable investments in Latin America.

For 10 years he was the Sustainability Manager at Deloitte and in 2016 he led the creation of the Network of Sustainability Professionals in Colombia, an initiative that currently brings together more than 2,000 professionals who work promoting sustainable development. He is currently the Director for Latin America of the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI), a global initiative that promotes responsible investments through the implementation of 6 globally recognized principles. Since 2018, the initiative has managed to add more than 100 funds in the region to follow strategies that incorporate Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) criteria in their investment decision-making.

Mauricio Domenzain

Mauricio Domenzain has a great passion for Network Marketing and has significant experience in the Direct Selling industry in North American and Latin American markets. He was a senior executive at a major global direct selling company and in June 2017, he was appointed as CEO of Immunotec, becoming the first Mexican to head this Canadian-owned company.

Since he joined Imunotec, he has been committed to expanding into international markets, including 13 countries in the world. His transforming spirit has allowed the companies under his leadership to adapt to changes and revolutionize their growth without losing their essence. Action-driven results is one of his main focuses.

Mauricio studied Marketing at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and divides his time between Mexico City and Houston, cities where Immunotec has established its headquarters for Latin America, North America, and Europe

Rodolfo Mercado has more than 24 years of experience in the transportation industry in Mexico and is fourth generation of transportation entrepreneurs. He has a deep knowledge of the Market and currently is CEO of Grupo TRAXIÓN since 2018 and Board Director since 2016.

Previously, Mr. Mercado was Chief Operating Officer of
Transportes LIPU, and was founder and CEO of Grupo
Settepi, a leading regional personnel transportation
company, between 1998 and 2014, when it merged with LIPU.

Mr. Mercado holds a BA in Public Accounting from
Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de
Monterrey, and earned a Business Administration
degree from the same Institution.

Wolf Silvertstein

Wolf Silverstein has been CFO of TRAXIÓN since August 2018. He was previously CFO of LIPU Transports, the staff and student transportation subsidiary TRAXION, and has held various operational and financial positions within the company for more than 15 years. Moreover, he was involved in the process of acquisition and integration of 4 companies and oversaw the development and implementation of de Shared-Services Center and planning of LIPU, which resulted in significant synergies and cost reductions.

Mr. Silverstein led the capitalization and financing processes of LIPU, performed a key role in the Initial Public Offering of TRAXION in 2017, and has a broad knowledge of the transportation industry. Mr. Silverstein holds a BS in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana and earned a master´s degree in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey

Mr. Senderos Fernández has been CEO of AgileThinking from 2000 to 2010 and again from July 2019 to the present. He has been Chairman of the board of directors of AgileThinking since 2000. Before that, Mr. Senderos Fernández served from 1996 to 2000 on the board of directors of Desc Corporativo, S.A. de C.V., a publicly traded industrial conglomerate trading on The Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) as Grupo Kuo, S.A.B. de C.V. (KUO). From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Senderos Fernández held various positions in strategic planning and business management at Desc S.A. de C.V. Mr. Senderos Fernández holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico, and attended the program for Executive Development at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Amit Singh joined AgileThought in May of 2022 as global CFO. As part of his new role, Amit focuses on evolving of AgileThought’s finance department into a world-class organization, with the goal of increasing efficiencies and making finance a true business enabler. In addition, Amit also focuses on growing the firm’s relationship with investors around the world and helping them understand and invest in AgileThought’s strong growth story.

Amit started his career as an engineer but has spent the last decade and a half in finance in the IT Services space, most recently as Head of Finance, US & GlobaHead of Investor Relations at Globant. During his tenure at the company Globant’s stock increased ~5x, and the company achieved industry-leading multiples. Prior to Globant, Amit was a sell-side equity research analyst at Bank of America and Jefferies, has also worked as an investment banker at JPMorgan and as a technology investor at Rochdale Investment Management.

Mr. Singh holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Grecia es la directora de Sustenibilidad de la firma. Ella asume un papel principal en la estrategia, evaluación y reporteo de factores ASG en nuestro ciclo de inversión. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2022, trabajó como Gerente de Relación con Inversionistas para una start-up mexicana-estadounidense y durante ocho años en Grupo Herdez como Gerente de Relación con Inversionistas y Sustentabilidad Corporativa.

Grecia tiene una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad Panamericana, una Maestría en Finanzas de EGADE Business School, una certificación en Finanzas Sostenibles de la Universidad de Cambridge y un diplomado en Inversión de Impacto por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Javier es el Director Legal del fondo en México. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2021, Javier trabajó durante 9 años en Ritch, Mueller y Nicolau, S.C., enfocado en asuntos de mercados de capitales, fusiones y adquisiciones y financiamientos. Javier recibió su título de licenciado en derecho en 2014 por la Universidad Iberoamericana y cuenta con una maestría en derecho de la Universidad de Columbia. Javier también trabajó como asociado internacional en la oficina de Nueva York de Proskauer Rose LLP.

Jaime Gómez

Juan Pedro Dávila

Juan Pedro cuenta con una doble licenciatura en Administración de Empresas y Derecho por la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3) y un MBA por la IE Business School, de donde se graduó con distinción.

Mikel se enfoca en el desarrollo de compañías del portafolio del fondo en México y se desempeña como miembro de juntas y comités de ciertas compañías del portafolio. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2017, Mikel fue responsable de la planificación financiera de Taco Holding, una empresa del portafolio de Nexxus. Mikel cuenta con una licenciatura en Finanzas por la Universidad Iberoamericana.

Diana es parte del equipo de Relación con Inversionistas y, previo a ello, se desempeñó como Analista Mezzanine de México. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2018, Diana trabajó en Scotiabank en el área de administración de activos. Diana cuenta con una licenciatura en Finanzas por el Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México y aprobó el CFA Nivel II.

Christianne es la Encargada de Relación con Inversionistas de la firma en México. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2020, Christianne fue la Directora de Relación con Inversionistas en Vesta y antes de eso fue Directora de Relación con Inversionistas en ICA. Christianne cuenta con una licenciatura en Negocios Internacionales por la Universidad Anáhuac y un diplomado en Finanzas Corporativas por la Universidad Iberoamericana.

Ana Vidal

Ana es la Asesora General del fondo en México. Antes de unirse a Nexxus en 2016, Ana trabajó durante cuatro años en Basham como asistente legal enfocada en asuntos corporativos generales y transacciones financieras corporativas. Ana recibió su título de abogada en 2016 por la Universidad Anáhuac.

Rafael Ruiz

Rafael es Analista en la oficina de Madrid. Antes de unirse a Nexxus Iberia en 2020, Rafael trabajó durante tres años en el Fondo Activo QMC de Alantra (antes N+1) y en áreas de Finanzas Corporativas. Rafael cuenta con una maestría en Finanzas por la IE Business School y con una doble titulación en Administración de Empresas y Finanzas de Barton College. Rafael aprobó el CFA de nivel III en 2019.

Marimar Torreblanca

Marimar is founding partner and CEO of Miranda ESG, a sustainability advisory firm for corporates and investors. She is also partner of Miranda IR (aninvestor Relations advisory firm for corporates) and co-founder of Mujeres en Finanzas Mexico (a non-profit organization which seeks to provide the necessary tools to help women in the Mexican financial industry advance their careers). Marimar has over 16 years experience in financial and strategic analysis. Before Miranda Partners, she held different positions at UBS, specializing in real estate Equity research for over 10 years. She has analyzed companies in different industries and different development stages, including many of them undergoing capital market transactions. Marimar graduated with honors from the Economics program at ITAM and later completed a Masters in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research from Columbia University in New York. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certificate from the CFA institute

Álvaro de Arrigunaga

Prior to joining Modatelas, he served as the SVP & Chief Merchandising Officer at Walmart Mexico and Central America. With more than two decades of experience in retail, Alvaro has been responsible of the commercial strategy, sales, margins, profits, P&L and store growth of Walmart, Bodega discount stores and Superama supermarkets. Previously he held senior positions as Vice-president of Walmart, Suburbia, Bodega Aurrera and Superama. Alvaro also serves as a member of the Board and Foundation of Walmart. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from la Universidad de las Américas.

Jorge Raull

Mr. Raull has ample experience in the financial services markets, having worked for Citigroup and Banamex for more than 13 years in Mexico, the United Kingdom and the USA. Between 1995 and 2000 Mr. Raull was General Manager for Banamex’s Houston Agency. He obtained his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and is fluent in Spanish, German and English.

He is a founding partner and CEO of Transnetwork LLC;  the most diversified B2B electronic domestic and cross-border processing and payment platform in Latin America, with over 60,000 locations through the largest retailers and Banks  in 12 countries. 

Aby Lijtszain

Aby Lijtszain is a distinguished Mexican entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in the transportation and logistics industry in Mexico. In 1998, at the age of 20 he executed his first acquisition and founded Transportes LIPU, which today is the largest student and personnel transportation company in the country. Some years later, and with a vision of integrating a highly fragmented sector, he founded TRAXION. Currently, Mr. Lijtszain is co-founder and Executive President. In only eight years, TRAXIÓN has evolved into the largest mobility and logistics company in Mexico and consolidated as the pivot between the logistics and transportation industry, and the financial sector in the country, establishing the first such investment platform in Mexico. Moreover, Mr. Lijtszain has executed and successfully integrated more than 15 M&A transactions and founded and sponsored several companies including a vehicle leasing firm aimed to government institutions, diverse advertising and marketing businesses, and a security company. Mr. Lijtszain holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de México (ITAM) and earned a degree in Business Consulting from the same institution.

Jorge Restrepo

Jorge Restrepo is a Colombian entrepreneur with broad experience in the tourism industry and deep knowledge of digital marketing and travel focused technological innovations. At the age of 32, Jorge founded TiquetesBaratos.com, the leading online travel agency (“OTA”) in Colombia by number of transactions. In 2015, Jorge joined PriceTravel through the acquisition of TiquetesBaratos. Jorge now serves as Co-CEO, where he has implemented a state of the art technological platform and overseen the implementation of key strategies and best practices throughout the company, positioning PriceTravel as one of the leading OTAs in both Mexico and Colombia. Jorge holds a Business Administration Degree from the ICESI Colombia.

Martin Ricoy

Martin Ricoy has an Extensive career in US multinational in various management positions, such as Crown Cork, Campbell Soup Company or Ralston Purina.

He has served as CEO of Kayser Roth Corporation in Greensboro, CEO of GRUMA Corporation in Dallas, and CEO of Newell Rubbermaid for Europe.

Martin now serves as CEO of Pumping Team and Chairman of Gebomsa.

Martin holds a BBA from The University of Notre Dame (USA)  and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance.
